Evidentiary Foundations
This recommended reading isn't really for reading, per se, but instead is a very good resource. Edward Imwinkelried has taken just about every conceivable situation and presented a step-by-step how to on getting the evidence admitted at trial. The book is comprehensive yet concise, and its ease of use is outstanding. It is published by LexisNexis and a new one is horribly expensive, but I am making do with a sixth edition I bought used online three years ago. It's well worth the price, even new, but I'm just more economical than that.
