Attorney Jean Brandl, a member of the MoreLaw Minneapolis community, made news yesterday with a groundbreaking case involving terrorism allegations–successfully arguing for the defendant to be temporarily released to a halfway house and allowed to participate in a civic involvement program targeted at disaffected youths.
Defendant Abdullahi Yusuf, 18, was arrested at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport with a ticket to Turkey, stirring fears that he intended to join the ongoing conflict in Syria.
